DR. ANTHONY CAMPOLO

Tony Campolo is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at EasternUniversity in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. Previously, he served for ten years on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania.  The founder and President of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE).  Dr. Campolo has worked to create, nurture and support programs for “at-risk” children in cities across North America, and has helped establish schools and universities in several developing countries.  Tony has appeared on many television programs including LarryKing Live, The Colbert Report, Nightline, Crossfire, The Charlie Rose Show, CNN News and MSNBC News.  He co-hosted his own television series, Hashing It Out, on the Odyssey Network, and presently hosts Across The Pond, a weekly program on the Premier Christian Radio Network in England.  He is the author of  numerous books. JEANNETTE CLIFT GEORGE

Jeannette Clift George is the founder and artistic director of the A.D. Players, a Houston based ChristianTheatre company which presents plays throughout the world.  She holds an Honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from DallasBaptistUniversity and the Honorary Doctor of Humans Letters Degree from HoustonBaptistUniversity.  Her extensive background in professional theater includes acting Off-Broadway and touring with the New York Shakespeare Company.  Her film Debut was in World Wide Pictures’ The Hiding Place, portraying Corrie Ten Boom, a Dutch woman who saved the lives of scores of Jews during Nazi occupation. Since it’s general release in 1975, the film has been shown to audiences worldwide and enjoys continued popularity through video sales and rentals.  Jeannette is equally well-known as an author, playwright, Bible teacher, and national speaker. In her radio program, Jeannette Clift George From Center Stage, her unique wit and keen insights illuminate Biblical principals. She is the author of the books Daisy Petals, Travel Tips From A Reluctant Traveler, and Some Run With Feet Of Clay. In addition to her books, she has contributed articles for various magazines and published collections.  She is a Staley Foundation Distinguished Christian Scholar lecturer and travels extensively, speaking at conferences, schools, and professional workshops.

GRACIA BURNHAM

On May 27, 2001, while celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary at Dos Palmas Resort off PalawanIsland, in the Philipines, Gracia and Martin Burnham were kidnapped by the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG), a militant group of Muslims. They were taken to BasilanIsland, an ASG stronghold. Remaining in captivity for 376 days, the Burnhams faced near starvation, constant exhaustion, frequent gun battles, coldhearted murder, and intense soul-searching about a God who sometimes seemed to have forgotten them.  On June 7, 2002, in a firefight between the Philippine military and the Abu Sayyaf Group, Martin was killed and Gracia, although wounded, was rescued.

Since that time she has become a popular speaker at churches, conferences and schools.  She is the author of two books, In The Presence Of My Enemies, andTo Fly Again.  Traveling across the country, Gracia shares her unique story of faith, forgiveness, and surviving captivity.  She has launched the Martin & Gracia Burnham Foundation, which will support mission aviation and tribal mission work around the world.  Gracia lives with her three children in Rose Hill, Kansas.

KATIE BROWN

Katie is an expert on cooking, gardening, home decor, crafts and entertaining.  She currently stars in the 30-minute family oriented home arts series, "The Katie BrownWorkshop", which airs nationwide on Public Television.
